I have always thot that grand weddings are a waste of money. why spend soooooo much on a one night affair when u can spend the money on a wonderful honeymoon..
well.. so i thot until i attended a chinese wedding yesterday. i have never attended a chinese or hotel wedding. yesterday was my first and it was a good learning experience!!! hehe.
i hate to admit that i actually like a hotel wedding!! *blushes* i love the ambience and the whole concept. guests seated. bride and groom graced in. beautiful music. great food. performances. speech. toast. interaction between the newly wed and guests. snapping of pics at every table. i find it more real. more meaningful. and the fact that i sat there for three hours made me feel that i really attended a function!! worth my one hour of dressing up at least! haha.
but of cos the downside is the cost!! so ex man. now i understand why the hang bao is so big! haha.
well i guess its every girl's dream to have a fairy tale wedding. its possible of cos if u have a rich prince charming. or u urself have surplus of cash. haha. otherwise i think a moderate one is good enuff. a hotel wedding and a great honeymoon would prolly be the perfect scenario. its my wishful thinking i guess... its prolly either or for me. and of cos i'd still choose a great honeymoon! hehe.. well, the hotel wedding has nevertheless inspired me on how my wedding would be like. even if i dun have the luxury to have it in a hotel, i'd still prefer to adopt its concept. hehe. like copy paste and tailor suit to a smaller cost. hehe. *blueks*
thanks ryan for inviting me!! have a blissful marriage!
merry christmas to all.
