Yesterday was the day that officially made my dream came true. Since young, i had always wanted to be in that big blue gown with the mortar board and scroll in my hands. The mass throwing of the mortar boards had always been a vision. A vision that kept me going. Finally, after 15 years of hard work, that dream came true. It was a great night. It was complete because my whole family and my boyfriend were there for my convocation. Thanks deariez for being there for me. Thanks adik for skipping your soccer match for me. Thanks pipi for being my faithful cameraman. Muakz.
Before the convo, I was really excited .. wanted to make sure i look my best for the ceremony.. Everything turned out well.. alhamdulillah. It was held at the University Cultural Centre (UCC).. the place was beautifully decorated! I like!
The whole thing was very fast! I thought it was gonna be long and draggy! but it turned out to be short and sweet! I was pretty nervous when i went up the stage!! been soooo long since i did.. hehehe.. i was so happy to see all my friends went up the stage to get their scrolls.. We did it girls!!! Euni and shaq.. don't worry.. you both are gona do well for ur honors and i'll be so proud of you guys..all the best to the both of you k.. *smilez*
I had such a great time taking pics with anyone and everyone! hehehe.. felt like a superstar cos of the so many flashes!! But gosh.. the mortar board makes me look like an apple... my face is super duper ultra round! Yikes. Hmpf... don't like!
i threw the mortar board together with many life science peepz.. so cool.. and so cute! after throwing, everyone's boards got mixed up!! and i ended up with a slightly bigger one.. but its ok.. no biggie!
The valediction was perfect. The gal who gave it is a first class honors student who obtained sooo many awards!! And mind you, they are all honourable ones ok!! She's so small and sooooo sweet. She was really calm and smooth and her words really touched me. I was so feeling every word that she said.. that i actually teared. trust me, if not for the fact that i had mascara on, i would have let those tears trickle down my cheeks..
After the photo snapping fiesta, me and my family headed down to east coast for a late dinner. Dad said we could have anything in celebration of my graduation! And today, he brought my grad pics to work.. * so paiseh*.. i think he's just really happy and wana share his joy with his friends! hehe.
Poor boyfriend had to go home all by himself after i left. Sorry dear.. the car was really packed. Otherwise, my parents wanted you to join for dinner..
All in all, it was one of the happiest day in my life. I thank God for allowing it to happen.. *smiles*
